Method
- Combine cornstarch, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg.
- Dredge the chicken pieces in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg, and finally coat again in the flour mixture.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the chicken bites in batches until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
Make the Bang Bang sauce:
- Mix mayonnaise, sweet chilli sauce, sriracha, soy sauce, and lime juice in a small bowl.
- Toss the cooked chicken bites in the Bang Bang sauce to coat evenly.
- Serve immediately, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
